About

Kelly DelahantyI’m a multidisciplinary designer who specializes in making complex concepts understandable, bridging communication gaps, and storytelling. I also write and draw comics. You can read some of my short comics here.

I’ve worked as a designer in both academia and the corporate world and I’m always open to new and interesting collaborations. I’m especially passionate about work in the nonprofit and education sectors. If you’re someone who wants to help people, I want to help you! Send me a note if you're interested in working together.

Sometimes people say nice things about me, like Trish Barker, my former boss at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications:

Kelly's skills in graphic design, illustration, infographics, and animation have helped us promote events and explain complex concepts in eye-catching, accessible, fun ways.

I currently work as the Communications Coordinator for the Illinois Program for Research in the Humanities (which is a very long name that basically means "humanities center") at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I help promote research being done by faculty and graduate students, as well as outside scholars.

Specialities: Data visualization and infographics, user experience, web/interface design, print design, storytelling, comics, and illustration.
